Mildred R. Holden, 77, of Travelers Rest, widow of Horace Holden, died February 8, 2010.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lula Galloway Bailey.
Mrs. Holden loved painting and flowers and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Darlene Holcombe (Douglas), Tammy Sightler (John), Kimber Cobb (Shawn); five sons, Allen Edwards (Mandie), Johnny Edwards, Rickey Edwards (Cathy), Melvin Cureton (Theresa), and Marvin Cureton; 24 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Frances Holden, Aretta Smith; and brother, Buck Bailey.
She was predeceased by one grandchild and four sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with burial following at Graceland Cemetery, West.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
