Lallie Jean Pepper Davis, 79, died Saturday, February 6, 2010.
Born in Anderson, Mrs. Davis was the wife of Charles W. "Midge" Davis, and the daughter of the late Harold Edward and Easter Alice Patterson Pepper. She was retired from Southern Weaving where she was an Administrative Assistant, and was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Piedmont Mothers Club.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter, Marsha K. Rogers and her husband, Thomas of Piedmont; a son, Charles W. "Chuck" Davis and his wife, Lisa of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Chanda Hawkins, Tommy Rogers, Jr., Tia Rogers, and Reagan Davis, all of Piedmont; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea Hawkins, Bailey Rogers, Wes Hawkins, Ashton Rogers, and Carter Rogers, all of Piedmont. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris; and three brothers, Paul, Walter and Carl.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Bessie Road Baptist Church, with visitation prior to the service from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of Marsha Rogers, 400 Anderson St., Piedmont, SC.
