Elizabeth "Lib" Harling McKinney, 88, of Greenville, wife of the late Magistrate Claude McKinney, Sr., died Saturday, February 06, 2010. Born in Edgefield County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Pearl Pardue Harling. Mrs. McKinney was a homemaker and a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Claude McKinney, Jr. and wife Diane of Piedmont; two granddaughters, Lara Tate and husband Sean of Piedmont, Beth Gambrell and husband Greg of Greenville; five great grandchildren, Camden, Greta and Hudson Tate, Gage and Blythe Gambrell. There will be a private burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be at 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, February 7, 2010, in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:15 p.m. at the funeral home. The family is at 145 Wren School Road, Piedmont, S.C.
