Elneda Padgett Trotter, 75, wife of Lloyd C. Trotter, died Saturday, February 6, 2010.
Born in Seneca, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert H. and Lillie Bell Reams Padgett.
Mrs. Trotter was a graduate of Furman University. She worked as an administrative assistant and social worker for Shriner's Hospital for 20 years. Upon retirement from Shriner's, she was co-owner of Orthopedic Services Inc. until 2001. She is currently co-owner and manager of Branches Gift Shop. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church for 48 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy T. and Joel VanderWood, and three grandchildren, Richard Curtis VanderWood, Matthew Ryan VanderWood, and William Bradley VanderWood.
Visitation will be Monday, February 8th, from 6 until 7:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 9th, at 2:00 pm, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Springwood Cemetery.
