Virginia Kay Parsons, 46, of Greenville, SC, was sent into the presence of the Lord which is her Saviour on Thursday, April 3, 2008.
Born in Ypsilanti, MI, she was the daughter of Marshall Benson Parsons I and Virginia Mary Parsons.
She worked for the Bob Jones Press's Testing and Evaluation Department and held a bachelors and masters degree from Bob Jones University. She was the president of the Women's Missionary Ministries at Faith Baptist Church in Taylors SC.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia M. Parsons; two brothers, Kenneth Parsons of Blufton, IN and Douglas Parsons of Canton, OH and two sisters, Wanda Reygaert of Auburn Hills, MI, and Diane Bugg of Greenville, SC.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 7, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Tuesday April 8, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with burial to follow in Coleman Memorial Park, Travelers Rest.
